At Wellside Kindergarten it is our aim to introduce a stimulating and happy environment in day care for children, providing the highest standard of professional childcare and education for children aged birth to five years. We greatly encourage the natural joy of discovery in each child and through activity, play and learning by example, nurture a caring, considerate attitude. Relating in a positive way to their peers, enjoying team activities, sharing conversations and accomplishing tasks together all pave the way for the road ahead.
Caring for your child is our number one priority and in partnership with parents we will ensure that we take the time to support each individual child's personal development. Children are listened to and encouraged to take an active role in deciding what we do in the nursery, which in turn makes a real difference to the crucial development of their personal and social skills. Caring, well experienced and fully qualified staff provide well balanced activities
We are quietly situated only minutes from Falkirk town centre and close to all amenities. Wellside Place lies between Falkirk Town Hall and Falkirk Police Station. The nursery is within walking distance of both Grahamston and Falkirk High railway stations
Wellside Kindergarten was established in1993.The house standing in its own grounds retains many of the original features creating a realistic home environment to which children can relate as well as an educational setting.
There is a large enclosed garden to the side of the nursery creating fantastic opportunities for outdoor play. This offers a safe environment for all age groups. The garden is easily accessible from all playrooms and children have the opportunity to play in the garden all year round. In addition, the close proximity of Dollar Park and Callendar Park, local public parks, provides facilities for wider physical development.
Wellside Kindergarten has achieved four ECO Schools Green Flag Awards, Health Promoting Schools Award and Healthy Working Lives Award.
Wellside Kindergarten in registered with the Care Inspectorate. All nursery staff are registered with the Scottish Social Services Council and all staff holds a PVG Certificate.

Children were highly motivated and engaged. The exceptionally skilled staff team knew the children well, recognising their individual capabilities, offering challenge and supporting achievement. Staff's enabling attitude encouraged children to have a positive view of themselves. The high level of inclusion and trust in children empowered them to confidently make choices and direct their own play. A wide range of learning activities supported sustained interest and children had fun while developing skills in understanding, investigation, problem solving and managing risk in their play. These quality experiences supported children's natural curiosity and creativity and promoted their confidence and self-esteem.
