Fees and Contract

The nursery offers part or full time care to suit individual needs. Part time sessions are 8.00am to 1.00pm or 1.00pm to 6.00pm. A 7.30am start can be organised with prior arrangement

Full Week: £202.00

Full Day: £49.50

Half Day: £32.50

Fees are calculated on the basis of a 50 week year. The weekly charge is multiplied by 50 and divided into 12 equal instalments which are payable monthly in advance. Payment is due on the first day of attendance in the month and can be paid by standing order, cash, cheque, childcare vouchers or tax free childcare.

There is a minimum attendance requirement of 2 sessions per week. No rebate can be given for non-attendance. We do not operate single sessions except as extra sessions for children already in nursery. A late payment charge of £10.00 per hour will be applied for late collections.

A non-refundable administration fee of £50.00 is required when a placement has been agreed

We encourage all working parents to take full advantage of the tax efficient Childcare Vouchers or the new Tax Free Childcare scheme. The government will pay £2 for every £8 you pay if registered for the Tax Free Childcare scheme. The nursery is registered with all voucher companies and parents can use this contribution to pay nursery fees. Please ask you employer for information about the childcare vouchers or you can find information about tax free childcare at https://www.gov.uk/tax-free-childcare.

Who We Are

Wellside Kindergarten is a family run business that was established in 1993. Our aim has always been to create a family environment that provides a safe and stimulating place where children are encouraged to develop their own identity through an understanding of the natural world around them. Over the last few years we have won awards for best Scottish nursery, highly commended nursery of the year and our nursery manager, Janelle, runner up for best manager at the Nursery Management Awards.
Many of the staff who started at the outset still work in the nursery and have continued to upskill and develop their professional practice over the years. They reflect on both local and national guidance and enjoy networking with colleagues from other settings and sectors.
We utilise the local community to enhance the children’s experiences of the world around them and have strong partnerships with the local care home where the children and residents enjoy spending time together engaging in activities.
The children enjoy spending time at Forest School in Callander Woods. It allows them the time and space to develop skills, interest and understanding through a range of activities which provide practical, hands-on experiences in a natural environment. We have achieved 5 ECO green flags.
We have a commitment to continuous ongoing development and we will provide your child with the best nursery experience possible.
